Delete your JarSave account
In the app: Profile, then Delete Account.
- As the only parent, your whole family goes with it: the kids, their papers, practice, wishes, points, photos and voice notes
- With a second parent, only your account goes; the family stays with them
- It happens right away
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from your account's email.
- Say "Delete my JarSave account"
- We delete it within 3 days and reply when it is done
Delete some data, keep the account
Some of it in the app, the rest by email.
- A paper's photo: open the paper, then Remove Photo (its text and points stay)
- A kid's own phone: Family, the kid's card, Pair a Device, then Remove
- Anything else: write to [email protected] saying what to delete; we do it within 3 days
What is kept, and for how long
Nothing, once the backups roll off.
- Backups, when we keep them, roll off within 7 days
- Text that Anthropic's AI read from a paper is deleted by Anthropic within 30 days
- Purchase records stay with Apple or Google under their own rules
- A family nobody uses for 12 months is deleted, after one warning email 30 days before
